Lazius' historical works include "De situ et antiquitatibus Asiae," a comprehensive account of the geography and antiquities of Asia, and "Historiae de gestis et rebus in Aegypto, Ethiopia, Nubia et Arabiis gestis," which provides a detailed account of the history of Egypt, Ethiopia, Nubia, and Arabia. Despite his success as a historian, Lazius continued to practice medicine throughout his life.
