November 30, 1866: A Historical Moment in Wolverhampton's Past - In this striking photograph from Mary Evans Picture Library, Queen Victoria (1819-1901) is seen bestowing the honor of knighthood upon Mayor John Morris (1813-1882) of Wolverhampton, following the unveiling of a statue of Prince Albert (1819-1861) in Queen's Square.
