It was a bipedal predator, using its teeth and hind claws to bring down its prey. Apatosaurus was a long-necked herbivore that lived in what is now southern North America. It is commonly known by its previous name Brontosaurus. Both dinosaurs lived in the Late Jurassic Period (150-135 million years ago)
