APSLEY HOUSE, London. Ice pail from the Duke of Wellingtons Prussian Service, made in Berlin 1817-19. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Prussia, and depict the battles he won during his military career. Here shown is the Battle of Salamanca (22nd July 1812) during the Peninsular War.
