He declares that his (natural) daughter Charlotte (later styled Duchess of Albany), having been recognised by himself, by France and by the Pope, is Royal Highness for you and everywhere'. He disclaims however, any intention of disputing his brother's rights and prays him in return not to dispute those of his daughter. Written in Florence, 2 November 1784.
