Great moment captured in this stunning photograph as Everton's Kevin Mirallas (second right) celebrates scoring the Toffees' second goal against Aston Villa during their Premier League clash at Goodison Park on January 2, 2014. The Belgian international's goal came in the 34th minute, doubling Everton's lead after Leighton Baines had opened the scoring just five minutes earlier. Mirallas' goal was a thing of beauty, as he cut inside from the left wing before unleashing a powerful right-footed strike that gave Brad Guzan in the Villa goal no chance. The crowd went wild as Mirallas and his teammates celebrated in front of the jubilant home fans. This photograph, taken by renowned sports photographer Peter Byrne, captures the full length of the celebration, with Mirallas raising his arms in triumph while his teammates surround him in a group hug. The atmosphere at Goodison Park was electric, with the home side dominating the game and looking poised for a valuable three points. The season of 2013-14 was a memorable one for Everton fans, as they finished fifth in the Premier League table, securing European football for the following campaign. Mirallas was a key player for the Toffees that season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions.
