In this evocative photograph, taken by Joe Meredith on December 26, 2012, at Ashton Gate Stadium, we find Derek McInnes, the manager of Bristol City, intently examining the pitch before the referee calls off the Championship match against Watford. The scene is set against the backdrop of a dreary and rainy day, adding to the somber atmosphere.
