This evocative photograph captures the charming and historic Swanston Cottage, the beloved home of renowned Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson from 1867 until his departure for Samoa in 1894. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by a quaint picket fence, the cottage exudes a sense of tranquility and seclusion, perfect for the creative mind that penned classics such as "Treasure Island," "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and "Kidnapped."
