VISUAL DESCRIPTION
The image is a historical record from "The King's Cup" air race of 1935 detailing the results and highlighting the use of Titanine 'Satin Finish' on participating aircraft. T Rose flying a Miles Falcon (Gipsy Six) secured first place followed by other competitors mostly flying variations of Miles Hawk Trainers or similar models powered by Gipsy Major engines. Notably mentioned are E.W Percival who achieved fastest times with his Percival Mew Gull (Gipsy Six). A significant point made here is that 17 out of 20 machines in the final were coated with Titanine 'Satin Finish', suggesting its popularity and possible contribution to aerodynamic performance.
