In this striking photograph, taken in 1937, we find Bertram Pollock, the Bishop of Norwich, standing proudly in his full episcopal regalia. The year 1937 was a significant one for the Bishop of Norwich, as he played a prominent role in the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Bishop Pollock, born on July 12, 1879, had been ordained as a deacon in 1902 and consecrated as a bishop in 1925.
