This powerful and historic print captures a pivotal moment in the life of Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, the English army officer and Chief Scout who became a hero during the Boer War. In October 1899, Baden-Powell found himself besieged at Mafeking by Boer forces, with his troops running low on supplies and morale.
