Jamess Court, Edinburgh, 1928. From " The Journal of a Tour to the Hebrides with Samuel Johnson" by Scottish diarist and author James Boswell (1740-1795). Boswell lived at James Court, (built 1723-1727), and entertained Dr Johnson here before their epic journey to the Western Isles.
