On a sunny summer day in July 26,2015, Aberdeen Football Club paid tribute to their long-serving goalkeeper Jamie Langfield with a testimonial match against Brighton & Hove Albion FC at Pittodrie Stadium. The occasion marked the end of an era for Langfield, who had spent over a decade with the Dons, making a total of 231 appearances for the club.
