Great moment captured in this photograph as Brighton & Hove Albion and Crawley Town go head-to-head in a fierce pre-season clash during the 2013-14 season. The atmosphere is electric as both teams give their all on the pitch, with Brighton's players in their iconic blue and white stripes and Crawley Town's in their red and black. The date was July 24, 2013, and the tension was palpable as the two Sussex clubs met at the Checkatrade.com Stadium in Crawley. Pre-season friendlies are an opportunity for teams to test their mettle against other sides and fine-tune their tactics before the start of the league campaign. In this image, we see Brighton's number 11, Craig Mackail-Smith, in action as he tries to outmaneuver Crawley's defense.
