Great memories come flooding back as we take a trip down memory lane to the 2011-12 home season of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. In this particular photograph, we find ourselves at the Falmer Stadium on the 4th of February, 2012, as the Seagulls faced off against Leicester City. The atmosphere was electric that day, with the home crowd eagerly anticipating a victory against a formidable opponent. Brighton & Hove Albion, then managed by Gus Poyet, were determined to put on a show for their loyal supporters. The team's spirit and determination were palpable, as they took to the pitch in their iconic blue and white stripes. Leicester City, on the other hand, were no pushovers. They had a strong squad and were known for their attacking prowess. However, the Seagulls were not to be intimidated. The first half of the game saw both teams trading chances, with neither able to find the back of the net. The second half brought renewed energy and intensity from both sides. Brighton & Hove Albion pushed forward, with their midfielders and forwards combining brilliantly to create chance after chance. The Leicester City defense held firm, but it was only a matter of time before the Seagulls broke through. In the 75th minute, a moment of magic from the ever-creative Will Hoskins saw him weave his way past several defenders before slotting the ball past the Leicester City goalkeeper. The stadium erupted in cheers as the Seagulls took the lead. The final whistle blew soon after, securing a hard-fought victory for Brighton & Hove Albion. This photograph is a reminder of the excitement and passion that comes with following Brighton & Hove Albion. It's a snapshot of a moment in time, where the team and the fans came together to create a memory that would last a lifetime.
