Great memories come flooding back as we take a trip down memory lane to the 2011-12 home season of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. In this particular photograph, we find ourselves at the Falmer Stadium on the chilly February 4, 2012, as the Seagulls took on Leicester City. The atmosphere was electric that day, with the home crowd eagerly anticipating a crucial match against a tough opponent. The Seagulls, then managed by Gus Poyet, were determined to secure a valuable three points and maintain their position in the Championship play-off race. Leicester City, managed by Sven-Goran Eriksson, were no pushovers, and the visitors brought a formidable squad to Falmer. The first half of the game saw both teams creating opportunities, but neither could find the back of the net. The second half brought renewed energy and intensity, and it was Brighton & Hove Albion who eventually broke the deadlock. A brilliant team effort resulted in a goal by Will Hoskins, sending the home crowd into raptures. The Seagulls held on to their lead, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory. This win was a significant one for the Seagulls, as it kept them in the play-off hunt and boosted their confidence going into the final stretch of the season. The 2011-12 home campaign was an unforgettable one for Brighton & Hove Albion fans, and this photograph serves as a reminder of the excitement and passion that comes with supporting the team.
