In this print from the Scott Polar Research Institute, we are transported back to a momentous expedition in 1930. The image captures four intrepid explorers - Gino Watkins, Quintin Riley, Martin Lindsay, and John Rymill - as they embark on a challenging climb amidst the unforgiving Arctic landscape. Led by the indomitable Henry George (Gino) Watkins, these brave men were part of the British Arctic Air Route Expedition.
