"This powerful and poignant photograph captures the moment of triumph and reverence as Rangers Football Club lifted the Scottish Cup in 2003, adorned in their special edition poppy shirts. The team, led by manager Alex McLeish, had secured their 25th league title just a few months prior, but this victory held a deeper significance. The poppy, a symbol of remembrance and honor, was worn in memory of the fallen soldiers who had sacrificed their lives for their country. The Scottish Football Association and all 42 Scottish Premier League clubs came together to support the Poppyscotland charity, with Rangers FC taking the initiative to wear the poppy emblem on their shirts during their Scottish Cup campaign. The team's dedication to this cause was evident as they marched onto the Hampden Park pitch, each player proudly displaying the poppy on their chest.
