The first photograph features 50170 Private William Miller, who died on April 9, 1917, at the young age of 31. His loss was deeply felt, and his name is etched in history on the Ypres/Menin Gate Memorial, Panels 39 and 41. The second photograph captures the image of 201791 Private W.B. Miller, who tragically lost his life on June 24, 1917, at just 21 years old. His final resting place is the Maroc British Cemetery in Grenay, where he lies in Grave II.E.4.
