Nadejda Mikhailovna Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven (28 March 1896 22 January 1963) second daughter of Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia and his morganatic wife Countess Sophie von Merenberg. She was a younger sister of Countess Anastasia de Torby, Lady Zia Wernher. Married Prince George of Battenberg in 1916. Pictured here smoking while attending the Fernie Hunt, where her brother-in-law, Major Harold Wernher, was joint master of the hounds. Date: 1926
