Born on 13 February 1903, Scott would go on to become one of England's most celebrated aviators, best known for winning the prestigious MacRobertson Air Race in 1934. In this image, Scott, dressed in a simple shirt and shorts, sits confidently atop his vintage bicycle, his eyes focused intently on the horizon. The wooden bicycle, with its large wheels and streamlined design, mirrors the sleek lines of the aircraft that would later carry him to record-breaking heights.
