EDITORS COMMENTS
The print captures the Scinde Campaign Medal 1843, awarded to Herberao Pulundah of the 12th Regiment of Bombay Native Infantry. This metal medal showcases the Queen's head on one side and the name of the battle on the reverse. The Scinde Campaign saw three different medals issued for the battles of Meanee, Hyderabad, and Meanee and Hyderabad, all dated 1843.
