Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote its new luxury passenger ship the SS Arnhem, which operated on services from Harwich, Essex to the Hook of Holland. The Arnhem entered service in 1947, and sailed this route until 1969, when it was scrapped. The 4, 891 tonne ship is shown here at sea, approaching the Hook of Holland.
