In his Whirlwind helicopter up went Flight Lt. Jimmy Stuart of the joint experimental helicopter unit on Friday (31-10-58) at Arborfield, Bucks. Suspended from the Whirlwind was this Chipmunk. The unit was giving a demonstration before one hundred officers including five Generals. Flt. Lt. Stuart flew over the Chipmunk which was then hooked to the whirlwind and after a flight dropped the plane in front of the generals. November 1958 P004262
