This photograph captures Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar (1853-1907), the fifth monarch of the Qajar Dynasty in Persia, in his regal attire around the year 1896. Mozaffar ad-Din Shah, also known as Muzaffarid-Din Shah or Muzaffari Qajar, ruled Persia from 1896 until his assassination in 1907. Mozaffar ad-Din Shah is depicted in this image wearing the traditional Persian royal uniform, which includes a long, flowing robe, a wide-brimmed hat, and a sash adorned with precious stones. The Shah's piercing gaze and stern expression convey a sense of authority and determination. During his reign, Mozaffar ad-Din Shah faced numerous challenges, both internally and externally.
