Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear. A grey-haired man gestures to a younger man with a pipe. The beach stretches out below them. Artwork by Arthur C Michael, a painter and etcher who worked mainly in watercolour or bodycolour. He illustrated books and periodicals as well as designing posters for LNER. Dimensions: 1016 mm x 1270 mm
