This evocative photograph captures the corner view of the Duke of Cornwall Public House, located in the vibrant area of Gipsy Hill in London. The red brick facade of the pub, adorned with ornate detailing and the distinctive "Duke of Cornwall" sign, exudes a sense of history and tradition. The Duke of Cornwall, a cherished local institution, was a popular watering hole for residents of SE19 and beyond. The pub, which was situated on Gipsy Hill, was known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Sadly, as of July 2018, the Duke of Cornwall Public House was no more.
