Great moment captured at the Amex Stadium during Brighton & Hove Albion's home game against Millwall on August 31, 2013, in the 2013-14 season. The Seagulls, then playing in the Championship, were determined to secure a win against their fierce rivals. The atmosphere was electric, with both sets of fans creating a cacophony of noise that echoed around the stadium. In this image, we see Brighton's number 11, Kazenga LuaLua, charging towards the Millwall goal with the ball at his feet. The crowd is on the edge of their seats, the tension palpable as they willed their team on. LuaLua, known for his pace and skill, had already caused the Millwall defence problems throughout the game, and here he was, poised to strike. The Millwall defence, however, were not about to let him past easily. Number 16, Mark Beevers, is shown here making a last-ditch tackle to deny LuaLua a clear shot on goal. The determination in Beevers' eyes is clear, as is the frustration of the Brighton players and fans. Despite the efforts of both teams, the game ended in a goalless draw, leaving both sets of fans feeling a sense of disappointment. However, the spirit and passion displayed by both teams and their fans made for an unforgettable match, one that will go down in history as a classic Brighton vs. Millwall derby.
