In this photograph, Armand Traoré of Arsenal FC is seen in action during the Emirates Cup match against Inter Milan, held at Emirates Stadium on July 29,2007. The Emirates Cup was a pre-season tournament that brought together some of the world's top football clubs, and this encounter between Arsenal and Inter Milan was the second day of the competition. Traoré, a French international left-back, joined Arsenal in the summer of 2007 from Auxerre, and this was his first taste of competitive action for his new club. Dressed in the iconic red and white Arsenal jersey, Traoré is shown here in a defensive stance, focused intently on the ball carrier of Inter Milan.
