EDITORS COMMENTS
Great moment in women's football history captured in this image: Arsenal's Ciara Grant (right) celebrates scoring the only goal against Leeds United in the League Cup Final at Glanford Park, Scunthorpe United, on March 4,2007. The goal secured Arsenal Ladies their fifth League Cup title, adding to their growing list of trophies. Grant, a midfielder, expertly finished a cross from the left wing, leaving Leeds goalkeeper Sue Smith helpless. The crowd goes wild as Grant raises her arms in triumph, surrounded by her teammates who join in the celebration. The atmosphere at Glanford Park was electric, with both teams giving their all in a fiercely contested match. Arsenal's victory was a testament to their determination and skill, and they deservedly took home the trophy that day. This image is a reminder of the passion and excitement that women's football brings, and the progress that has been made in the sport over the years. The photo, taken by Arsenal Football Club's official photographer David Price, is a treasured moment in the club's history.
