It is located at the Baths of the Seven Sages (wise men) in Ostia Antica, an ancient Roman seaport built at the mouth of the Tiber River near Rome, Italy. The port was founded by the Roman king Ancus Marcius in about 620 BC and was used to import grain and other essentials for the city of Rome
