Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to the Western Highlands of Scotland. The poster shows a steam locomotive travelling in front of a loch, with mountains seen in the background. Artwork by Frank Henry Mason, who was educated at HMS Conway and spent time at sea. He painted marine and coastal subjects and was involved in engineering and shipbuilding. He designed railway posters for the North Eastern Railway (NER), Great Western Railway (GWR) and London & North Eastern Railway (LNER). Dimensions: 1016mm x 1270mm

We recommend using a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print. The ultra-hard surface is scratch-resistant, waterproof and weatherproof. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
