Poster produced for British Railways (BR), showing the Gresley A4 Class Pacific Plover locomotive crossing the Forth Bridge in Scotland. Artwork by Terence Cuneo (1907-1996). Cuneo withstood gales of over 50mph to sketch this scene from a girder high above the track. He recounted: Working conditions here were frankly terrifying. Although swaddled in a flying suit, duffel coat, balaclava and mittens, to say nothing of long woollen underwear - I was frozen

Printed using Dye-Sublimation and for best care we recommend a non-ammonia glass cleaner, water, or isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to prevent harming the print surface. We recommend using a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print. The ultra-hard surface is scratch-resistant, waterproof and weatherproof. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
