This black-and-white print from Memory Lane Prints takes us back to a momentous event in British history - the Royal Tournament held in May 1936. The image captures a grand parade showcasing the might and unity of the Navy, Army, and Air Force. In this snapshot frozen in time, we witness an awe-inspiring display of military prowess as servicemen march with unwavering precision down a bustling street lined with enthusiastic spectators. Each branch is represented by their distinctive uniforms: sailors adorned in crisp white attire alongside soldiers donning impeccable khaki suits while air force personnel proudly sport their iconic blue outfits. The atmosphere is electric; you can almost hear the resounding cheers echoing through the air as onlookers marvel at these brave men who protect our nation's sovereignty. Amidst them all stands an aura of regality as members of royalty observe from an elevated platform – perhaps even King George V himself.
