Anon McLoughlin, affectionately known as Tom the Piper's Son, was a renowned Irish fiddle player and composer from County Donegal. Born in the late 1800s, McLoughlin's musical talents were discovered at a young age when he was heard playing a melody on the fiddle for his father, Piper Paddy McLoughlin, as they returned from a piping engagement.
