Kennedy, born in 1788, served valiantly during the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 as part of Altens 3rd Division. During the intense conflict, Kennedy was struck in the side and temporarily removed from the battlefield. Tragically, one of his horses was killed and another was wounded beneath him. Despite these setbacks, Kennedy's resilience and determination were unwavering. Following the battle, Kennedy's historical accounts of Waterloo became invaluable resources for future generations.
