It outlined the Allied position regarding Japan during World War II and made decisions about postwar Asia. The meeting was attended by President of the United States Franklin Roosevelt (1882-1945), Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Winston Churchill (1874-1965) and Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975) of the Republic of China.
