Upper right is titled " Beef Steak Rare, " and shows a grizzled soldier in camp holding a frying pan with a long handle over a fire, Bottom left image is titled " A Straggler, " depicting a soldier with his knapsack hanging from his rifle -- table of contents says he is " Always sick when a fight is expected."
