Great memories often come flooding back when looking at old photographs, and this one, in particular, transports us back to the exhilarating 2011-12 season of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. The date was the 10th of April, 2012, and the opposition was Reading. This game would go down in history as one of the most memorable home victories for the Seagulls, with the scoreline reading an emphatic 10-04-2012 - 3-0 in favor of Brighton. The atmosphere at the Falmer Stadium was electric as the team, under the management of Gus Poyet, was on a roll. The crowd was in high spirits, sensing that something special was about to unfold. And unfold it did. Brighton took the lead through a stunning goal from Will Hoskins in the 12th minute, and the floodgates opened. The Seagulls went on to score six more goals before half-time, with Ashley Barnes, Craig Mackail-Smith, and Liam Bridcutt all getting on the scoresheet. The second half saw more of the same, with Brighton continuing to dominate the game. Barnes completed his hat-trick, and the goals kept coming, with Leon Best and Jake Forster-Caskey adding their names to the scoresheet. The final whistle blew, and the jubilant crowd erupted in cheers as Brighton had recorded an historic 10-0 victory.
