Great moment from Birmingham City's pre-season friendly against Everton on July 30,2011, at St. Andrew's. In this image, Morgaro Gomis of Birmingham City is seen in full flight, leaping high above the Everton defense to challenge for a lofted ball. The intensity and focus in Gomis' eyes are palpable, as he prepares to head the ball towards the opposition goal. The Everton goalkeeper, alert to the danger, dives to his left in an attempt to make the save. The crowd at St. Andrew's roars in anticipation, their hearts pounding in their chests as they watch the drama unfold. Morgaro Gomis, a Portuguese striker, had joined Birmingham City in the summer of 2011, and this was one of his first appearances for the team in front of their home fans.
