These two chimps, Bugsy & Jinxsy, both 3, are from Southam zoo, warwickshire are seen here playing the piano. They were recording an hour's piano playing at the Maida Vale BBC studios in London for Radio 1 DJ John Peel's show called "Top Gear" which goes out on Satuday afternoons.
Apparently, it could be used as backing for a record or a record may be built around it.
Apparently, the idea came originally from John Lennon.
