Class 3 of Whitmore Park Junior School, Coventry, won the junior section of a fire prevention quiz organised by the West Midlands Fire Service. Mr. Harry Weston(pictured) presented the prize, a cheque for 7.50, which he had donated to them. Pupil Jackie Erwin, (left), and Keith Trenter, both aged 11, received the cheque on behalf of their class. The quiz was followed by a lecture given to the class by a fire prevention officer.
