Two-Tone Stars Reunite to Save the Tic Toc Club in Coventry
EDITORS COMMENTS
. In a remarkable display of solidarity, former members of the iconic Two-Tone movement joined forces once again to rescue the struggling Tic Toc Club in Coventry. Lynval Golding and Jerry Dammers, both renowned for their contributions to The Specials, graced the stage during a sold-out benefit evening that aimed to raise much-needed funds for this beloved Hillfields venue. The reunion was nothing short of magical as these musical legends transported fans back to an era defined by ska and reggae-infused sounds. Joining them were Noel Davies, formerly part of The Selecter, along with Ska group The Cosmos. Together, they delivered a performance that left no doubt about their enduring talent and passion. Captured in this print are these extraordinary individuals who made history through their music. Standing tall at the back row are Jerry Dammers, Roddy Radiation, and Lynval Golding from The Specials - icons whose influence still reverberates today. In front of them stand two more esteemed figures: Two-Tone record producer Roger Lomas alongside ex-Selecter members Noel Davies and Charlie Bainbridge. This snapshot freezes a moment in time when artists came together selflessly for a cause greater than themselves - preserving not just a club but also an entire cultural movement. It serves as a testament to the power of music's ability to unite communities and ignite change. Date: 23rd March
