Circa 1922, this portrait depicts Professor Moore in formal attire, seated with an air of authority and wisdom. Born in 1864, Moore began his academic career in England before emigrating to Australia in 1891. He served as Prime Minister from 1949 to 1966 and is remembered for his significant contributions to Australian politics and diplomacy.
