In memory of the Australian Army Veterinary Corp (AAVC), Chris Kennedy and his horse Chaos (left) and Damon Hughes and horse Maverick are seen at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast, Tuesday, April 23, 2019. The AAVC played a vital military role, from the Sudan and South African wars, through World War I and to the end of World War II. Veterinarians and their assistants provided professional care for horses, mules, camels, dogs and pigeons in the Australian Army, with 120 officers serving overseas in WWI. The photo was taken around the time of the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 and shows the rush of people on one of the main streets of Melbourne. The building is located on Bourke street and now houses one of the David Jone's stores. Melbourne's Parliament House can be seen in the distance, as can the corner of the old Mark Foy's building

Flinders Street railway station is a railway station on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets in Melbourne, Australia. It serves the entire metropolitan rail network. Backing onto the city reach of the Yarra River in the heart of the city, the complex covers two whole city blocks and extends from Swanston Street to Queen Street
