The Lower Southern Hospital at Gore Farm, Dartford, during its First World War use as a military hospital. Several uniformed personnel are visible. The hospital was set up in 1883 by the Metropolitan Asylums Board for smallpox convalescents. The site later became the Southern Convalescent Hospital. Date: circa 1916
