Cricket at Bramall Lane 1901

A scene from the County Championship match between Yorkshire and Kent at the Bramall Lane ground in Sheffield, a match won by Yorkshire, who went on to become County champions that season. The Bramall Lane ground was used for both cricket and football until 1973, when Yorkshire played their last fixture there. A stand was then built over the cricket square, making the fourth side of the football pitch, where Sheffield United continue to play to this day. Date: June 1901
