The winner of the race was Lieutenant de Vaisseau Jean Conneau, who flew under the pseudonym Andre Beaumont, completing the course in an astonishing 22 hours 28 minutes in his Bleriot monoplane. The excitement of this groundbreaking event was immortalized in the iconic film "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" released in 1965.
