In this poignant photograph, taken during the 2010-11 soccer season, Notts County fan Lowes Brough is warmly welcomed to Old Trafford by Jez Moxey, the CEO of Wolverhampton Wanderers. The scene unfolds after a distressing incident that took place following Notts County's Carling Cup fixture against Wolves at Molineux on September 21,2010. As Notts County coaches were leaving the stadium, a group of yobs hurled bricks, shattering a window next to Lowes Brough, causing her to be knocked unconscious and sustain facial injuries. The violent attack left the Notts County supporters feeling shaken and vulnerable. In response to this unfortunate event, Wolverhampton Wanderers extended a heartfelt gesture of support and solidarity to the affected fan. Lowes Brough was invited to the directors box at Old Trafford, where she was greeted with open arms by Jez Moxey and the Wolves community.
