Bolland joined Millwall in 1966, and his impact on the team was immediate. A powerful and skilful forward, he quickly became a fan favourite at The Den. He scored some of the most memorable goals in the club's history, including the winner in the 1969 FA Cup Quarter-Final against Leicester City. Off the pitch, Bolland was a beloved figure in the Millwall community. He was known for his generosity and humility, often giving his time and energy to support local charities and initiatives.
